Welcome Letter and Supply List

Dear Families,

Welcome back to school! We are so excited to have the opportunity to get to know you and your child on their educational journey. This will be a year of learning and maturing for all children. We have lots to cover and many exciting things planned.

This year we will be introducing multiplication and division. It is never too early to start working on learning multiplication facts. This will be a base for all future math endeavors.

This year we will be venturing to Old Salem on April 13th. There students will learn about the colonial time period. Students will be touring the town and getting to experience colonial life. Your child will cook using tools from the time period, become an apprentice for a mason, and other fun activities. This will be a wonderful learning experience for your child. Due to Old Salem requirements, a payment of $25 must be collected from each student by March 2nd. With the difficult economic state, we would like to make you aware of the expense of this trip in advance.

For the cost of field trips, Mulberry Elementary has developed a payment plan to ensure each child can participate. There will be three options.

  1. Pay for each trip when the form comes home.
  2. Pay for all the trips at the beginning of the year. ($44.00 total)
  3. Set up a payment plan to pay on the total cost of the trip each month. ($4.89 per month)
